AI strategy review for trade and civil contractors · 90 minutes · $1,500

Find where your hours are going, before anything gets built.

You don't need to know what AI can do. I look at how a job moves through your business, from enquiry to final payment, to find the bottlenecks, see where AI can fit and work out what is worth changing first, so more of your week goes on higher-value work. You finish with a written plan for where your hours are going and what to change, in order.

An electrical business owner in his site office on a video call with Kylie, with an action plan on the screen beside her.

Is it the right fit?

Identifying where AI fits is my job, so you don't need to arrive knowing.

A contracting business that's already running.

It suits a trade or civil contractor where admin like quotes, tenders, claims, project documents and chasing people is taking hours you'd rather spend on higher-value work. You might be curious about AI but unsure where it fits, and that's fine.

Not a tour of AI tools.

It isn't the right fit if you're after a list of tools, if the business hasn't started yet, or if you need IT support, since setup, access and approvals stay with you.

What happens in the 90 minutes.

On the call, I first check what I found with you and ask what has changed since you filled in the form.

  1. Before the callYour questionnaire

You fill in a short form, and I read it and research your business.

  2. Start of the callHow the work runs now

You talk me through it, and I ask where it slows down and what it costs you, until the bottlenecks are clear.

  3. Middle of the callWhat deserves attention first

The jobs you go after, how they get delivered and what AI can work from. Then you decide which changes free up the most time.

  4. Last 15 minutesYour plan

You choose the order, and I write it down.

What you take away.

Everything you need to start on the plan, in your own time.

The recording

With your permission, the session is recorded and transcribed, so you can watch it again or share it with your team.

Your written plan

It names the bottlenecks, which opportunities are worth doing and whether they can be done, and your next steps in the order you chose.

Questions by email

As you start on it, you can email me your questions.

What a plan can look like.

Every plan is built from your own business. This one is for a made-up electrical business, so you can see the shape of it.

An example only. Your plan is built from your own business.

“Kylie quickly delivered a clear process map and working prototype that quantified the opportunity and showed a concrete path to free our team from repetitive tasks.”

Questions about the review.

What exactly is included?

A preparation questionnaire, one 90-minute session, up to three opportunities looked at in detail with up to three hours of research into whether each can be done and what with, a written plan, and up to three rounds of questions by email afterwards. Implementation and a second session are not included.

Do I need to be technical?

No. You need to know how your work runs, and I take it from there.

What if I already know what I want built?

The session can look at that in depth instead. If it's agreed beforehand, part of the session can go on building it with you, and the rest is quoted afterwards.

Is the build included?

No. The review is the plan, and implementation is quoted separately once the plan is agreed. If something needs deeper research than the three hours, paid scoping is a separate $750 step, credited towards the build.

Can you tell us what to put in our tenders or SWMS?

No. You and your advisers decide what goes in your tenders, SWMS, claims and variations. The review looks at the work around those documents and where it stalls, and I don't give legal, safety or tender advice.

Does the $250 call count?

Yes. If you've had the call within 60 days, the review is $1,250.

Ready to see where your hours go?

Ninety minutes, and a written plan you can act on.
