Terms
Two sets of terms live on this page.
- Booking terms, for the call and the AI strategy review. You agree to these when you book.
- Website terms, for using this site.
How I handle your information is in the privacy policy.
Booking terms
These terms apply when you book Bring me one process (the call) or the AI strategy review (the review) through this website. By booking, you agree to them, together with the privacy policy and the website terms. If you do not agree, please do not book.
I am one person running a small consulting business. These terms are written to be read, not to catch anyone out.
1. The call
- One 30-minute session, online by video, on one process that you choose.
- Three short questions are asked when you book. Answer them as accurately as you can, so the time goes on your work rather than on background.
- You get my honest view on whether there is anything worth changing, and a direction if there is.
- If I conclude on the call that there is nothing worth doing, the $250 is refunded in full. That is my call, made on the call, and I will say so at the time.
2. The credit
- The $250 you paid for the call comes off your next booking with me, if you make it within 60 days of the call.
- For the $1,500 AI strategy review, that leaves $1,250 to pay. I send you the booking link for the credited rate after the call.
- The credit is not redeemable for cash, cannot be transferred to someone else, and does not apply to the intensive.
- If the call fee has been refunded, there is no credit.
3. The AI strategy review
- One 90-minute working session, online by video, that looks across your business and goes into up to three opportunities properly.
- Up to three hours of follow-up research after the session.
- A written plan setting out priorities and what to change first.
- Building anything is separate. If you want something built after the review, it is scoped and quoted before work begins.
4. Paying
- Prices are shown on this website in Australian dollars and are paid in full at the time of booking, by card, through Acuity Scheduling and Stripe. I do not see or store your card details.
- Prices can change. The price you see when you book is the price you pay.
- Implementation and team training are quoted to scope and agreed in writing before any work starts. Those agreements set their own terms.
5. Changing a booking
- Rescheduling. You can reschedule online, at no cost, with at least 24 hours' notice for the call or 48 hours' notice for the review, before the start time. The link is in your confirmation email.
- Cancelling. Bookings cannot be cancelled online. If something has come up and you need to cancel, email hello@kyliegillin.com and we will sort it out. Except where the Australian Consumer Law requires one, a refund for a cancellation is at my discretion.
- If I need to reschedule, you choose a new time or take a full refund.
- If you miss a session without rescheduling, get in touch. I will refund the fee if there is nothing I can still do for you.
- Sessions start at the booked time. If you arrive late, the session still ends at the scheduled time.
6. What I need from you
- Accurate answers to the booking questions, and accurate information during the session.
- A working internet connection and a device that can join a video call.
- Access to your own systems. Setting up software, granting access and getting approvals inside your business are yours to do. I advise on what to do; I do not provide IT services.
7. What the call and the review are, and are not
The call and the review give you my professional opinion on how work happens in your business and where AI and automation could change it. They are not legal, financial, tax or IT security advice. Get independent advice on those before you act.
I cannot guarantee a particular result. The recommendations depend on your business, your information and what you choose to do with them. Decisions about your business remain mine to advise on and yours to make.
8. Confidentiality, notes and AI
- What you tell me about your business is confidential. I do not name you, quote you or use your business as an example without your written permission. Section 4 of the privacy policy sets this out.
- I take notes during sessions. I do not record a session without asking you first.
- I use AI tools in my own work, on business accounts where what I enter is not used to train the models. Section 5 of the privacy policy explains how.
9. Australian Consumer Law
My services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with a service, you are entitled to cancel your contract with me, and to a refund for the unused portion or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the problem fixed in a reasonable time and, if this is not done, to cancel the contract and obtain a refund of the unused portion.
Nothing in these terms limits those rights. If you believe I have not met them, contact me and I will comply with the law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any Loss or Damage arising from the call, the review or your reliance on them. Where the law allows me to limit my liability, it is limited, at my option, to supplying the service again or refunding what you paid for it. In any case, my liability to you will not exceed the amount you actually paid me for the booking concerned.
You indemnify me against any Claim arising from your breach of these terms or from any claim by a third party connected with your business.
11. If there is a dispute
If any part of the call or the review is not acceptable to you, tell me straight away, with the specifics, and give me a reasonable opportunity to respond and put it right. If we cannot resolve it between us, we both agree to use an independent mediator or dispute resolution specialist, and each of us pays our own costs.
12. Events outside my control
If a Force Majeure Event stops me from providing a session, I am not in breach of these terms. I will offer you a new time or a refund.
13. Ending an engagement
I may decline or end a booking if I consider there is a conflict of interest, if you breach these terms, or if I believe you need more specialised help than I can give. If I end it for those reasons before the session takes place, you receive a full refund.
Website terms
These terms cover your use of kyliegillin.com. By using the site you agree to them and to the privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. I may change, suspend or stop providing the site at any time.
1. Your obligations
- Give correct information. When you fill in a form on this site, give current and accurate information.
- Comply with the law. Use the site in accordance with the laws of Western Australia and Australia, and, if you are outside Australia, your local laws.
- Personal use only. The copyright in the Content on this site is owned or licensed by me. You may read it, learn from it and share links to it. You may not copy, reproduce, resell or pass it off as your own without my prior written permission, which you can ask for at hello@kyliegillin.com. Trade marks on the site belong to their owners.

2. Information, not advice
The Content on this site is general information about AI, automation and how work happens in small businesses. It is not advice for your specific situation. Tools and their capabilities change quickly, and some of what is here may be out of date or an opinion that is not widely held. Reliance on it is at your own risk. Advice about your own business is what the call, the review and my other services are for, and they carry their own terms.
3. No warranties
I cannot warrant that the site will always be available, that your use will be uninterrupted, that the site is free from viruses or secure, or that the Content is accurate, complete and current. If you find something wrong, email hello@kyliegillin.com.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
You indemnify me against any Claim arising from your use of third-party links, sites, apps, software, products or services, from your breach of these terms or the law, or from your breach of the rights of a third party.
5. Other
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, and we each submit to the jurisdiction of its courts. If any part of these terms is not enforceable, it is severed and the rest remains in force. The obligations and liabilities in these terms survive termination. If I do not exercise a right or enforce a provision, I am not waiving it for the future.
